Mark was one hell of a guy , always willing to help the Chapter and veterans. He and his wife Colette helped manning the merchandise at the Queens Day Festival in Flushing Meadow Park. We were sorry to lose him when he and Colette moved to North Carolina. We met up with him and Colette at the 2001 VVA convention in Greensboro, N.C. short while later we herd of his passing. Rest in Peace, brother.
Mark was an eloquent spokesman for our Chapter and for all Vietnam Veterans... The Chapter is what is today, in part, because of Mark's tireless work on behalf of Veteran's issues... Watching him respond to Gabe Pressman's questions in the "News 4orum" videos, left no doubt as to his effectiveness as a spokesman for those veterans who have been marginalized and forgotten... It was good to see him again, at the top of his game... Rest In Peace Brother...
