I remember George and his wife Ann from the early days of the Chapter... If my memory still serves, George was also a Charter member of the "Just One Club" which convened at "Spirits Pub" right after chapter meetings... May he and Ann Rest In Peace...
George and I traveled to Australia in 1987 to attend their "Welcome Home" Parade for their Vietnam vets. We spent 30 days traveling in SE Australia (3,000+ kilometers). We only stayed in hotels for six of those nights. The rest were at friend's houses, relatives of mine, or other veterans.

George was a charter member of the Chapter. He retired from the NYFD with breathing problems which
caused his death.
